Another week down!
We kicked the week off with a bang as the much-beloved Dino Egg saw its Origins debut, and rare trading got a blast from the past on Friday when Habbo UK’s Idea Agency Teleporters were re-released (sans branding).
With regard to values, things have remained steady-eddie. The one exception? As if propelled by rocket, the value of the Small Ticket Bundle (PH Box) has not slowed and tentative sales approaching 50 HC in value have been recorded.
Taking a look at our slate of rares in-game, the oldest of the bunch – HC gifts – are among those holding still as mentioned. However, even the most resilient of the bunch are likely to see their value dip as they enter the economy a second time on a monthly schedule.
This month-by-month price dip will affect the gifts in sequence as they are given to the large cohort of users who have been HC subscribers since day one: the HC Plasto Set has already seen its value drop in this manner with the Tubmaster next in line.
Funky Friday values have also avoided melting down in the Summer heat, though it’s worth keeping in mind that a future poll that will confirm whether or not these Friday releases are one-and-done (or if they have the potential to re-enter the catalogue for purchase).
For those who missed a Funky Friday drop and are looking to catch up, Funky Friday Plasto continues to be the highest-priced get of the bunch though demand seems to have waned slightly in favour of PH Box mania.
In addition, early trade data for Holly Garlands and Green Teleporters seems indicative value increases down the line, while the less-popular Polar Bear Rugs have held strong all the same.
We continue the “no news” trend by turning an eye to catalogue rares whose values relative to one another have been stable since shortly after the release of the Dino Egg. Tuesday will bring a new addition to the bunch, and depending on its popularity, there is the chance that this quiet period leads into something more chaotic.
That’s all for this roundup! Enjoy the remainder of this very quiet week and we’ll see you next Friday µ
