Palsternakka’s name – Finnish for “parsnip” – references an event that took place in early 2005 on Habbo Hotel UK. A staff-only section of the catalogue bearing the same name appeared suddenly and allowed users to purchase a variety of rare and super rare furniture at regular furniture prices. While the slip-up was quickly corrected, the event lives on as a memorable part of the Shockwave era.
